Office Hours

Somebody asked me what kind of hours I put in. The answer is something like 16/day. I sleep 3 - 9 am everyday and take 2 hours to eat. I guess you could argue that organizing my mp3 collection or going to the bathroom doesn’t constitute “working” but let’s not mire ourselves in details. Especially since I get my best ideas in the shower.

OFFICE HOURS

Open most days about 9 or 10.

Occasionally as early as 7.

But some days as late as 12 or 1.

We close about 5:30 or 6.

Occasionally about 4 or 5.

Some days as late as 11 or 12.

Some days, or afternoons, we aren’t here at all.

And lately, I’ve been here just about all the time.

Except when I’m someplace else.

But I should be here then, too.

I love that thing. If I ever do start a retail shop, the sign will read:

“OPEN 23 HOURS A DAY.”

Screw ‘em - they can take their chances.
